A Days of our Lives supercouple celebrates
It’s a big week for Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) as they celebrate their love and reminisce about the past. Enjoy flashbacks of their time together, going back to the 1980s, including when Stephanie (Abigail Klein) was first born. The pair spends some time in the present, looking forward to more happiness, but they also worry about their daughter, who is having a pretty rough time right now.
Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) is back in Salem with Alex’s (Robert Scott Wilson) baby, which doesn’t sit well with his wife, Stephanie. However, Joy also wants to make amends with Chanel (Raven Bowens), who also had some troubles with her husband and Joy. Lani (Sal Stowers) sits down with Joy and asks her to give Chanel some space.
Splitsville for Philip and Gabi
It looks like Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) may learn that his girlfriend as DiMera’s spy on the inside and the one who tipped the rival clan off to the fact that Philip and Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) forged that letter from Victor (the late John Aniston). Gabi had tried to tell Philip the truth so many times, but could never seem to bring herself to do it.
Philip flips out on Gabi in Horton Town Square and tells her they are through. In fact, he wants her to pack her bags and move out of the DiMera mansion immediately. Will Gabi even have a chance to explain herself?
A big week for Xander and Gwen
It looks like things might be over for Xander (Paul Telfer) and Gwen’s (Emily O’Brien) friends-with-benefits arrangement. Xander is certainly returning to his old ways of getting mixed up in terrible schemes and sleeping with whoever he can. When Kristen (Stacy Haisuk) asks Xander to kill EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) for her, she also plants a passionate kiss on her lips. Will it lead elsewhere?
Meanwhile, Gwen gets a surprise visitor and is not quite sure what he wants. Jack (Matthew Ashford) shows up at his daughter’s Salem Inn door ready to talk. Will they finally make amends after several years of being estranged?
