Peter Gould’s upcoming series, Disinherited, has been ordered to series at FX.
Gould, famous for producing Better Call Saul, Pluribus, and Breaking Bad, is working as a producer and executive producer in this upcoming project. It is reported to be under post-production with no confirmed release date announced so far.
Disinherited has been approved as a full series and is scheduled to air on FX after its release. It will be available to stream on Hulu. Other executives and producers of the series, alongside Peter Gould, include Ram Bergman, Rian Johnson, and Nena Rodrigue.
Speaking of the series, Gina Balian, president of FX Entertainment, said in a statement to Deadline:
“Disinherited is exactly the kind of bold, character-driven storytelling that defines FX. With Peter Gould at the helm, this is a deeply human story about family, power and consequence, that plays with high moral stakes. And at the center of it all is a pair of sisters for whom it’s impossible not to root for as we watch this David vs. Goliath story unfold.”

What is Disinherited about?
The story of the Disinherited revolves around two sisters who receive an inheritance that they had not expected. As their fortune grows with the money they receive, the sisters find themselves caught in secrets from the past when they connect with rich families and circles.
The characters of the sisters will be portrayed by Victoria Pedretti and Kiera Allen. Pedretti has been in the cast of many famous movies in the past, some of which include The Haunting of Bly Manor, Once Upon A Time… in Hollywood, and The Haunting of Hill House.
Allen recently appeared in the series Watson, released last year. She has also appeared in Law & Order, The Good Doctor, and Run, which adds to her recognition.
