GARY ROWETT has been sacked as Oxford United manager.
The former Birmingham and Millwall boss spent a year in charge at the Kassam.
But a run of one win in nine matches spelt the end of his tenure.
His final match was a 1-0 defeat away at Charlton on Saturday that left the U’s 22nd in the table and two points from safety.
