Snoop Dogg and Lil Baby have collaborated once again but this time it’s not music but an ice cream brand!
Reports confirm that Lil Baby has been named a co-founder and investor in Dr Bombay ice cream. Dogg originally founded the brand in 2023 along with his son Cordell Broadus who serves as the creative director. The brand was officially launched at the Walmart store and expanded to more retailers such as 7-Eleven.
Dogg will soon celebrate the grand opening of its first Dr Bombay ice cream storefront on the Venice Beach boardwalk on April 26. The ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for noon at 1827 Ocean Front Walk.

Exploring more details on Snoop Dogg’s Dr. Bombay ice cream
Snoop Dogg’s Dr. Bombay ice cream comes with a fresh twist on traditional frozen desserts, drawing inspiration from the 90s’ hip hop culture and West Coast vibes.
The ice cream company launched in 2023 through a partnership with Happi Co. under Bosslady Foods. It started with serving seven varieties in reportedly 3,500 Walmart stores across the US. Some of the flavors launched that year included Bonus Track Brownie, Cocoa Cream Cookie Dream, Iced Out Orange Cream and Syrupy Waffle Sundaze.
Sharing his love for icecream, Snoop Dogg said:
“Ice cream is more than just a snack to me; it’s a way to chill, relax and get happy. That’s exactly what I want Dr. Bombay Ice Cream to do — bring a smile to your face and ease your mind. I’ve poured my heart and soul into perfecting these first seven flavors, and I can’t wait for my fans and the world to experience what I’ve created.”

Snoop Dogg has opened food and beverage-related stores before, including coffee shops and themed pop-ups tied to his entrepreneurial ventures. His brand include Broadus Foods (Snoop Loopz cereal, syrup and grits) and premium Gin & Juice with Dr. Dre.
While Lil Baby hasn’t shared a personal statement on collaborating with Dogg on Dr. Bombay icecream, Dogg’s son, Cordell Broadus has shared his excitement with People magazine on having Baby in the team, saying that it was a “very intentional” move. He told the outlet:
“Lil Baby has built one of the most authentic brands in music, and he understands how to connect with people at scale. This isn’t about a name — it’s about aligning with someone who sees our long-term vision and can help us build something that lasts for the next generation of ice cream lovers.”
Before joining Dr. Bombay ice cream, Baby had been involved with some food brands. For instance – Rap Snacks, a popular hip-hop themed snack brand featuring flavors tied to the rappers.
He partnered with Doritos for a campaign where he helped hand-pick producers and vocalists for a hip-hop track tied to the brand.
