Katie’s crisis of conscience on The Bold and the Beautiful
After losing Eric (John McCook) as her lead designer, Katie (Heather Tom) is at a crossroads about what’s next for Logan. Once Liam (Scott Clifton) suggested the idea of Hope (Annika Noelle) coming to work with him and Katie, the wheels started turning in her head.
However, for the most part, she’s pumped the brakes a bit due to Donna’s (Jennifer Gareis) reaction and the idea of alienating Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) even further. This week, expect Katie to question her true motivation for pursuing Hope. Does she actually want her to be the face of the brand, or does she just want to stick it to her sister by poaching her daughter?
Always second fiddle
Zende (Delon de Metz) is at a crossroads of his own this week. Alongside Hope and Thomas (Matthew Atkinson), Zende worked tirelessly to prepare for the relaunch of Hope for the Future, but the new focus on Eric’s upcoming couture line has shelved HTTF indefinitely. This week, Zende not only comes to a conclusion about his future at the company, but he’s also forced to revisit old wounds with RJ. (Brayan Nicoletti). Will their past involving Luna (Lisa Yamada) remain a point of contention between the cousins, or will they be able to overcome that hurdle for the sake of the family company? If they can’t get on the same page, there’s a chance that Zende will be the one to jump ship and lead the next Logan collection.
Secrets always come out
The reveal of Remy (Christian Weissmann) as Miss Dylan’s (Sydney Bullock) cousin was unexpected, and it’s complicated her life in a litany of new ways. Not only is he demanding that she help repair his relationship with Deke (Harrison Cone), but his mere presence at Forrester could lead Electra (Laneya Grace) to uncover the truth about their connection. Considering the harrowing ordeal that Remy put Electra through with the deepfake nudes, there’s no chance that she’d be willing to overlook her “best friend” keeping yet another secret from her.
Electra and Dylan are doing their best to repair the damage that ravaged their relationship, and Remy is the one wildcard that could ruin it. Spoilers for this week preview that Dylan urges Remy to respect her wishes, but despite that request, events later in the week tease a jarring discovery. Electra uncovers a shocking truth, which indicates the high plausibility of Dylan and Remy’s secret coming to light. How will Electra handle such a monumental deception?
