Off Campus trailer shows Hannah and Graham in a dangerous game of fake dating

Off Campus, the new Prime Video series, which will adapt Elle Kennedy’s book series of the same name, will be released on May 13, 2026. Each season of the show will adapt one book of the series, and the official trailer for Season 1 has been released.

For fans who have already read the books, the trailer has glimpses of many direct book references. The trailer also prepares the audience for the dangerous game of fake dating that Hannah and Graham are going to play in order for Hannah to get the attention of her crush. But how well would that go? Let’s see what the trailer says.

Off Campus trailer shows Hannah and Graham’s fake dating deal and how that will unravel

The Off Campus trailer opens by telling viewers that ice hockey captain Garrett Graham doesn’t do girlfriends. But as the next scene shows, Hannah and Graham make a deal that he is going to be Hannah’s fake boyfriend so that she can get her crush, Justin’s attention. In exchange, Hannah has to tutor Graham. While these scenes happened in Graham’s car in the books, it seemingly happens at a party in the show. But the deal is the same.

With Hannah’s rehearsals for her upcoming spring showcase, her job at a diner, and Graham’s 7 am hockey practice, it will be difficult for them to figure out a time for tutoring. But they’ll make it work because Graham needs to pass a paper, and Hannah needs to get Justin’s attention. But this fake dating isn’t looking too fake. While it starts with Graham insisting they play their parts well for the relationship to look real, being affectionate in class to check if Justin’s looking, they both begin to get affected by each other’s presence, nervous even.

As Graham’s friend points out that he’s affected by Hannah when he didn’t even know her name a week back, Graham says,

“Sometimes people sneak up on you.”

But as Hannah and Graham get caught up in this fake dating game, they soon realize that all of it isn’t fake for them, and Hannah is hesitant to open up about something viewers have yet to find out. As Hannah gets closer to Justin, Graham realizes he wants her to be his real girlfriend and not a fake one. But who will Hannah choose? Only the finale of Off Campus Season 1 will tell.
