Here are your spoilers for The Young and the Restless episode airing on Friday, May 15, 2026, as Nick strikes a dangerous deal, Lily catches Cane off guard, and Holden and Claire explore new territory.
Let’s Make a Deal, The Young and the Restless
If Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) had a favorite daytime TV show, it might be Let’s Make a Deal. He’s got a lot at stake these days, and on Friday’s show, he’s going to strike a dangerous deal. Does this mean Nick’s going to give in to Phyllis’s (Michelle Stafford) offer to deliver Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) to the Newmans in exchange for Christine (Lauralee Bell) dropping all the charges?
Just like the players on Let’s Make a Deal, Nick is dealing with time constraints. Players on Deal don’t have a great amount of time to play the game, and neither does Nick! He doesn’t know that Matt has amnesia, and that’s a condition that sometimes clears up! Matt could remember who he is at any moment. That will give him an edge that could make Phyllis’s offer to Victor a non-issue.
Cane’s caught off guard
Things are going very well between Cane (Billy Flynn) and Lily (Christel Khalil) these days. There were a lot of hurt feelings on Lily’s part last year when the two reunited in Nice, France, at Cane’s estate. He came back to Genoa City, and the whole AI debacle began, which has resulted in Phyllis owning Newman Enterprises and Arabesque, Cane’s company, being decimated.
Then, Malcolm (Shemar Moore) returned to Genoa City to let Lily know that he had been diagnosed with aplastic anemia. A distraught Lily was frustrated that she might be losing her biological dad, especially after family members failed to be a match for Malcolm.
A surprise twist occurred when Cane, who’s not a blood relative of Malcolm’s, turned out to be a match. This has certainly created a pathway to a reunion for Cane and Lily. But is it all too good to be true?
On Friday’s show, watch for Lily to catch Cane off guard. Is she going to reunite with her ex, granting his fondest wish? Or is something else going to occur?
Restless style
Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) and Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) are going to explore new territory on Friday’s episode, according to show spoilers. The two have had an on-again/off-again relationship that ended after Claire felt that Holden wasn’t being forthcoming in terms of his past with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
Does Claire think of Holden differently now that she knows he’s a member of the prestigious Winters family? Her grandfather, Victor (Eric Braeden), was fond of Nathan’s late uncle Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John). If Claire and Holden get back together, they may not have to worry about Victor’s approval!
