Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, Season 2, Episode 5, titled Furusato, will be released next Friday, on March 27, 2026. However, it is widely reported that Apple TV sometimes releases new Episodes of the show on Thursday nights at 9 p.m. ET and 6 p.m. PT.

What happened in Episode 4 of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters Season 2?
In Episode 4 of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters Season 2, Cate finally realizes where she belongs. After encountering one of her students whom she saved during G-day, she decides to return to her friends to help them deal with Titan X. The Episode also hints more about Cate’s strong connection to the Titans when she visits the San Francisco bridge, where Godzilla had attacked.
After telling Monarch about Titan X heading towards San Francisco, it is revealed at the end that Apex Cybernetics was only trying to fool the Monarch and that they had been tricked into following a whale all this time, instead of a Titan. This was all done to steal Hiroshi’s device, through which he was going to lure the Titan away from any human being.
Furthermore, in the episode of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters Season 2, Lee Shaw and the others also found Billy’s map that Apex had stolen. It is revealed that the migratory map that Billy started drawing in the 1950s was completed and that the Apex were aware of where Titan X was headed from the start. It was going to Santa Soledad, where Keiko and Lee had first encountered the Titan.
As they are headed to the next location, Cate joins them while May backs out, as she wanted to stay with Holland to figure out how to stop Titan X. Furthermore, Hiroshi also finds the letter Keiko had written to Lee Shaw confessing about her feelings for him, which might change the dynamic between the mother-son duo in the upcoming Episode.
