Marvel Studios is set to make big announcements about MCU Phase 7 at the San Diego Comic-Con that is scheduled for July 23-26.

MCU Phase 7 projects: Avengers vs X-Men, X-Men reboot, Wolverine, and Annihilus
According to the insiders, DanielRPK and Alex Perez, MCU Phase 7 is building towards the X-Men vs Avengers conflict. This clash was one of the strongest possibilities of the MCU after the multiverse saga. However, Marvel Studios is yet to announce it. Many fans theorized that the upcoming Doomsday and Secret Wars might create conflict between Earth-616 Mightiest Heroes and Earth-10005 X-Men. Kevin Fiege, the President of Marvel Studios, explained (via ComicBookMovie)
“I think you will see that continues in our next few movies with some X-Men players that you might recognize,”
Feige continued,
“Right after that, the whole story of Secret Wars really leads us into a new age of mutants and of the X-Men. Again, [it’s] one of those dreams come true. We finally have the X-Men back.”
Apart from that, Marvel and Disney+ are working on a Nova project. Nova debuted in Marv Wolfman and John Buscema’s 1976 solo comic as Richard Rider. Richard was given cosmic powers by a dying leader of Nova Corps. After further developments, Sam Alexander, a teenager, is now set to become the next Nova. The upcoming Disney+ project is expected to follow Richard Rider mentoring Sam Alexander.
Apart from that, The Eternals are expected to play a part in the cosmic Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Shi’ar Empire will also be introduced to connect with the upcoming mutant storylines. Meanwhile, Annihilus will be the major villain across multiple projects. A new Wolverine project is also on the charts.
Alex Perez of The Cosmic Circus revealed a rumoured list of movies that the Marvels will be focusing on post-Secret Wars,
“Marvel’s movie focus right now is on Black Panther 3, Shang-Chi 2, Spider-Man 5, the X-Men, Thunderbolts* sequel, Blade, Midnight Sons, and the next Avengers title’
MCU has struggled in recent years to hit the numbers like the Infinity Saga, but fans are hopeful that the Marvel movie franchise will reclaim its spot with Phase 6 of the multiverse saga that will wrap up with Avengers: Secret Wars, which is set to release in December 2027. Apart from Secret Wars, Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Avengers: Doomsday are the remaining projects of Phase 6.
