Matt and Sam had previously revealed on their social media accounts that they were planning their wedding.

The pair announced their engagement last year after Matt popped the question during a romantic getaway at a five star hotel in Scotland.

Matt and catwalk model Sam have been dating since 2014, after they met through their mutual connection to the brand Next.

Matt used to work at the store, and later down the line Sam began to model Next’s clothing.

Meanwhile, The Sun Online revealed earlier this week how Matt had named and shamed a number of his Coachtrip co-stars.

Matt, who appeared on the Celebrity edition of the E4 series of the show in 2022, slammed fellow contestants including X Factor star Honey G as ‘dreadful’ and ‘mad’.

Speaking about his time on the show, Matt confessed that he didn’t know if he “loved” the experience, because of the way other celebs acted.

“I don’t know if I loved that experience,” he said of the series.

“I found it really hard work, not because of the show, It was the other celebs.

“Not all of them. I will say there were some lovely people on but there were some people who made it weird because they cared about the vote at the end of the day, and would get annoyed if you voted for them, even though they’d voted for you because they wanted to stay on the show, even though you got paid the same no matter what.

“One person had said that if they won Coach Trip, they were hoping to get the Love Island hosting job. They were delusional and mad.”

Though he directly named and shamed Honey G when a fan asked him to spill the beans on which co-star he was referring to.

“Honey G and that awful woman from the valleys were dreadful, and the Olympian whose name escapes me.”

Stand up comic Matt is best known for co-hosting The X Factor spin-off the Xtra Factor with the late Caroline Flack back in 2013.

He then went on to host the drivetime show on Virgin Radio and launch a podcast with Busted‘s Matt Willis called When No One’s Watching.
