Man fighting for his life after falling from hotel window in UK market town in early hours

A MAN is fighting for his life after falling from a hotel window in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Officers were called to reports of an incident at Rothwell House Hotel in Northamptonshire.

A 50-year-old man was found in the car park and he was rushed to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Cops are asking for any witnesses to come forward as they probe how he fell from the hotel.

Detective Inspector Alan Rooney of the North CID team said: “An investigation has begun to establish the circumstances as to how the man sustained his injuries, which we believe may be consistent with a fall from a window.

“We believe the incident occurred between 3.30am and 5.25am on Monday, November 10, and would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything in Bridge Street, between the stated times.

“We would particularly, like to hear from anyone who was driving past the hotel and may have captured the incident on dash-com footage or any residents or businesses in the local vicinity with CCTV footage.

“This is a complex investigation, and we would urge anyone with information who has not yet spoken to us, to please get in touch as a matter of urgency.

“No matter how insignificant they believe it is as this could help piece together exactly what happened.”

Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101 or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
