Man and woman in their 30s are killed in horror three-vehicle crash just days before Christmas

A MAN and woman in their 30s have been killed after a horror three-vehicle crash just days before Christmas.

The collision happened at around 6.40pm on the A228 on Saturday (December 20) near Pembury in Kent.

A black Triumph motorcycle and a light-coloured Jaguar car were both travelling towards Tumbridge Wells on the Pembury Northern Bypass, close to the junction for Old Church Road, while a silver Ford van was heading the opposite direction.

Police and ambulance crews attended and the rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 30s and his passenger, a woman also in her 30s, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The force said: “Enquiries are being led by the Serious Collision Investigation Unit and officers are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

“Drivers are urged to check dashcam devices for any footage which may show the vehicles involved in the moments leading up to the collision.
