Madonna reports missing vintage costumes after Coachella performance with Sabrina Carpenter

Madonna reported missing wardrobe items after a surprise appearance at Coachella over the weekend.

Following a riveting performance with headliner Sabrina Carpenter at the annual music and arts festival, the Queen of Pop was disappointed to find out that some of her belongings were stolen, including historical vintage outfits.

The pop icon took to her Instagram to express her dismay, starting with how she was “still flying high” from her joint performance with Carpenter.

“This full circle moment hit different until I discovered that the vintage pieces that I wore went missing – my costume that was pulled from my personal archives – jacket, corset, dress and all other garments. These aren’t just clothes, they are part of my history.”

Among the missing items were allegedly the clothes, which were said to be part of a collection that she wore during her performance at Coachella. Because of the significance of these lost possessions to the True Blue superstar, she offered a bounty for their return.

“Other archival items from the same era went missing as well. I’m hoping and praying that some kind soul, will find these items and reach out to my team at: [email protected]. I’m offering a reward for their safe return. Thank you with all My Heart.”

Madonna shows love to Sabrina Carpenter following Coachella performance

Madonna drew in massive cheers when she emerged unannounced at Sabrina Carpenter’s headlining set at the Coachella main stage. The duo held hands and sang two of the music legend’s greatest hits, Vogue and Like a Prayer.

They also performed the Pop Queen’s new and unreleased I Feel So Free, an upbeat track off her upcoming album, Confessions II.

During their collaborative performance, the La Isla Bonita songstress wore an all-purple ensemble, from her corset to her camisole, then to her gloves and stockings, down to her boots.

Per the icon, her corset, boots, and jacket were restored from her 2006 stage outfit.

Following her appearance, Madonna took to the same Instagram Story to express her gratitude to Sabrina Carpenter.

“Still flying high since Friday night at Coachella! Thank you to Sabrina and everyone who made it possible. Bringing ‘Confessions II’ back to where it began was such a thrill!”

Sabrina Carpenter reciprocated the superstar’s affection by posting a heartwarming message on her own Instagram page.

“Madonna ..…I’ve got something i wanna talk about! thank you for coming out, bringing your love, and gracing the audience with everything you are + astrology knowledge + the greatest songs of all time. Last night was straight out of a dream. spending so much time laughing with you and then above all sharing the stage with you is a privilege I’ll never forget. x”

Confessions II is scheduled for release on July 3, 2026, over twenty years after the release of its predecessor, Confessions on a Dance Floor.
