What started as a textbook stalking case in Boston Blue Episode 18 turned into a deadly murder after Soraya’s Coach Bradley was found dead with a long-stemmed rose on her remains. Once the case took a deadly turn, Lena and Danny started investigating around the Campus and came across a man named Ethan Anderson, who worked in Campus maintenance. The duo concluded that Ethan is likely their culprit, as he had used his badge multiple times to enter the court and was also keeping tabs on Soraya’s movements. However, Ethan was not their killer as he had a strong alibi.

Danny and Lena discovered an important truth about Coach Bradley from the team and the assistant coach in Boston Blue Episode 18. It turns out that Bradley was looking into corruption within the NIL and points shaving in her off-hours. This development led Danny and Lena to a young Caucasian player who was suspected of shaving points. She believed that Soraya did not deserve the NIL money and that all her brand deals were unfair and should have gone to her. While the young player was caught for shaving points, she was not the real killer.

Things took a turn in Boston Blue Episode 18 when the corrupt player revealed the real killer, none other than the veteran basketball player and Soraya’s father, Damon King. Damon confessed to killing Coach Bradley, revealing that he left the long-stemmed rose to throw the Boston PD off the case. Turns out, Damon used to shave points in his past and had a huge gambling debt. As Damon was arrested, Soraya realized she didn’t want her father’s approval and decided to enhance her game in the future.

Lena learns a shocking truth in Boston Blue Episode 18

Another subplot in Boston Blue Episode 18 focused on Lena, who learned the shocking truth about her biological father in the previous episode. While Lena was still struggling to come to terms with her father, she discovered that Reed, his father’s employee, is actually her brother-in-law and her half-sister Christina’s husband. While Mae had promised to come clean, she had left out the fact that Lena’s father is aware of her existence, which made her feel betrayed yet again.

As Boston Blue Episode 18 came to a close, Reed confronted his father-in-law about Lena. He later visited her and revealed that he could no longer hide the truth from his wife but did not want to blindside Lena either. While Christina cannot trust her father anymore, Lena cannot trust her mother either and the episode set up an exciting meeting between the estranged sisters.
