After one heck of a violent ending on Friday, Days of our Lives delivers the drama the week of May 4-8, 2026. According to the new spoilers promo video, you can expect to see Jada delivering heartbreaking news, Kristen denying all, and Alex learning life is about to get a whole lot different.
Amy learns Sophia’s fate on Days of our Lives
When Amy (Shi Ne Nielson) found Sophia’s (Rachel Boyd) suicide note, she realized that her daughter was a lot worse off than she had ever imagined, but she didn’t even know the half of it. Jada (Elia Cantu) sent out an all points bulletin on the girl before even learning what she had done to Johnny (Carson Boatman).
During the search, the police find Sophia’s blood by the river. Do they find the rock that Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) used or is her blood on the footbridge? Jada has the unenviable task for giving Amy the news that the blood they found likely belongs to her daughter.
In Amy’s mind, that doesn’t mean that Sophia is dead, but it does mean she is in danger. How will Holly (Ashley Puzemis) feel when she hears what happened? Will she blame herself after the things she said to Sophia’s face and on social media? How could she have known Sophia was that ill?
EJ’s suspicions
Nobody has any idea that Sophia had teamed up with Kristen, and Kristen aims to keep it that way. That’s why she keeps herself calm, cool, and collected when she gets home, but EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) has some questions.
What happened to Johnny seems awfully suspicious and not something that one would expect a teenager to do. When EJ implies that Kristen had something to do with it, she becomes incredulous. How could EJ think such a thing about his own sister? She would never target her innocent nephew. Does Kristen put on a good enough act to fool EJ?
Joy’s big decision
It looks like the DNA test prove that Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) is indeed the father of Joy’s (AlexAnn Hopkins) baby, as she already knew. That means Alex’s life is about to change forever. He won’t even be a long distance dad because Joy has decided to stay in Salem with Kelsey.
This is not what Stephanie (Abigail Klein) had hoped for her new marriage. Will she emotionally survive this change?
