Here’s your recap for The Bold and the Beautiful episode on Thursday, April 30, 2026.
What happened on The Bold and the Beautiful
Ridge and Brooke returned home from the office, lamenting what a rough day they had. Brooke said that Katie was becoming someone who she didn’t recognize. Brooke noted that Katie’s grievances go back to their childhood. Ridge suggested she get a thereapist to deal with those issues. Brooke said another war was brewing, one with Steff because she was keeping Hope and Hope For The Future in limbo.
Ridge said they need to put all their resources into Eric and the couture line. Brooke said that she understood. She pointed out that Hope was a team player, but Katie wasn’t. She didn’t want anything to tear the family apart any further.
Pregnant pause
In Eric’s office, Daphne Rose asked Carter what she thought of her latest scent. Carter said it was intoxicating, but that was how he felt about his bride, too. Carter said he’d never take her for granted. The Forrester Creations COO had his fingers crossed that he would soon be a father. Daphne Rose produced a home pregnancy kit from her purse. He wondered how many of those she had. Both hoped that this would be the last test she’d take for a while.
Daphne Rose returned from using the home pregnancy kit in private. Carter said he felt sure that this was going to be good news. Daphne Rose said that a baby would complete their family. A timer went off, prompting Daphne Rose to look at the stick to see if she was pregnant, but she was not. “I’m afraid we’ll have to keep waiting,” she sighed.
Carter said supportively that it may take some time, and it will be more special when they do become expectant parents. Carter embraced his wife.
Dylan is the best friend in the whole wide world
Dylan brought Electra a package that she theorized was from a gem supplier. Electra said that she still wasn’t used to Dylan being at Forrester Creations. Dylan apologized for staying at Will’s for so long, but added that she was afraid to go back and live in her car.
Electra said Will was not going to let that happen. He was protective of her. Dylan concurred but pointed out that Will was in love with Electra. Dylan just wanted to keep her job so she could keep her apartment. Electra said she was glad that Dylan finally did the right thing.
Dylan said that it killed her to know that she was responsible for Electra’s angst. The former teacher made it clear that it wasn’t Will’s fault. Dylan added that both Will and RJ want to be with her, which was understandable since Electra is just so terrific. Dylan added that she missed her friend, and she wouldn’t stop hoping that someday….Dylan’s voice trailed off before she could complete her thought. Perhaps not unmoved by her former friends words, Electra got emotional and left the office.

Hope For Hope’s Future
Bill thought Liam’s idea that Hope jump ship from Forrester Creations and come onbard at Logan Designs was brilliant. Hope noted that Liam’s solution would complicate things. Liam pointed out that Hope would be with people who actually respected and valued what she did. Katie added that she’d love to work with Hope, but that Brooke would be even more upset. That was the last thing that Katie wanted.
Bill noted that this would be a great opportunity for Hope. But the Hope For The Future founder noted that Logan needed a designer, not her. Liam said that Hope does messaging, which is important. He added that it’d be a bonus for him if Hope came over because then he would work with his wife. Liam asked her if this was the solution that she was looking for in her life.
Liam noted that Hope has accomplished a lot with Hope For The Future with two hands behind her back. Imagine what she could do if she moved over to Logan Designs? Hope thought about the implications.
Bill urged Hope to take a chance. He said she could start a new line simply called, “Hope.” (Hopefully, Brook wouldn’t object to that, but then again, it was the name she came up with her daughter. She may feel that that is IP, Intelluctual Property!)
Liam said there’d be no more waiting for handouts and bowing to and begging “Princess Steffy.” He added that her coming to work for Logan Designs didn’t have to happen overnight. Hope worried about her mother as she’s such a huge part of Forrester Creations. Liam asked his wife if she felt that the Forresters felt the same way about Hope. Do they consider Hope a valuable employee? Katie concurred with Hope that the fallout could be huge.
Liam said Brooke was being petty, and there was plenty of space in her mind and heart for Katie’s success — but Brooke hasn’t found that space. Liam asked Hope if she’d been convinced to switch companies.
Hope reiterated that she wasn’t a designer. Bill said that they would get the best designers that money could buy. Bill added it was up to Hope and Katie. “Brooke would kill me,” Katie noted if Hope left Forrester Creations and came over to Logan Designs. While Katie likely didn’t mean that literally, she wasn’t de-emphasizing the fallout either.
