Dalton Levi Eatherly, also known as ChudTheBuilder, had his bond revoked in a Davidson County court on Wednesday. The decision was made after the judge reviewed his recent racial livestreams and the social media behavior.
Eatherly is a famous livestreamer known for his confrontational interactions. Last month, he was involved in a shooting outside the Montgomery County courthouse in Clarksville, Tennessee, with Joshua Fox. As the investigation continued, Eatherly claimed the shooting was self-defense, claiming that Fox attacked him first. However, after the surveillance footage came out, he faced an attempted criminal homicide case against him.
As per the recent update, his bond has been revoked by a Davidson County judge following a court review of his livestream during proceedings.
More on the story below.
Why was ChudTheBuilder’s bond revoked?

While the Nashville case against him was still going on, ChudTheBuilder also became involved in a serious case linked to Joshua Fox that happened last month.
The judge decided to revoke his bond after seeing the social media posts and livestreaming videos brought forward by the prosecutors. The videos were reportedly shot before the incident happened on May 13.
However, Jacob Fendley, who is currently handling his case, asked the court to take the online threats he is receiving into consideration, adding that ChudTheBuilder has been making complaints about the people sending him threats. The treats also involve his young son.
According to detective Michael Weber, from the livestreamer’s videos, it sounded like he was planning to kill someone. He added that his social media feed also seems inappropriate.
While the judge has revoked his bond, his attorney has asked the court to drop the charges against him in his Nashville case. Eatherly has been in big trouble after he didn’t stop livestreaming at the Omni Hotel restaurant in downtown Nashville. Additionally, he also didn’t pay the bill, because of which he faced misdemeanor charges.
In the recent court hearing, the judge did not deal with the Nashville case but focused more on the recent Montgomery County courthouse case.
Speaking of the case, his attorney, Fendley, reportedly said:
“Mr. Eatherly is looking at being held without bond on misdemeanors that he ought to have been cited for, and he’s charged with resisting arrest, which I think the state would capitulate is improper.”
What happens to ChudTheBuilder now?
While Eatherly’s bond has been revoked by the judge, he is scheduled to appear in court later this month on June 25th. As of now, he remains in custody. Although his attorney is trying to reduce the charges, the court has decided to keep him in jail for the time being.
After his arrest, he also set up a GiveSendGo fundraising page and raised over $302k. According to the statement updated on May 26 on the fundraising page, the money raised is now being handled by his lawyer. It will be kept safely in a trust account and used only to pay for his legal defense and court-related expenses.
However, the court reportedly confirmed that he can’t use the fundraising money or any online donations to pay his bond because the money’s origin can’t be clearly verified.
