Joy brings Alex the biggest surprise of his life

The last thing Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) ever expected when he opened his front door was to find Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) standing there with a smile on her face. He was sure Stephanie (Abigail Klein) had just left something before heading to the shooting range. Instead, Joy is standing there with a smile on her face.

Joy even wants to introduce Alex to someone. Her name is Kelsey and she is his daughter. Alex is in a state of shock, as Joy had said the pregnancy test was negative and it was a false alarm. Why would Joy lie like that and why is she first returning to Salem now?

Alex doesn’t quite know what to say. After watching Trey, he seemed to want a baby a whole lot more than Stephanie, and now his wish has come true. However, Stephanie is not the mom. How is he ever going to break the news to Stephanie, who is already going through enough?

While Alex deals with the fact that he is a baby daddy, Stephanie learns to shoot a gun, right along with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). We doubt Stephanie will tell her father that she ignored his instructions and placed the loaded gun in her purse. If she did, he’d probably take that gun from her and send her home for doing something so stupid.

Instead, Brady and Stephanie engage in a little friendly competition at the shooting range. Brady needs to learn to use a gun properly for his new career as the Black in Black Patch, but Stephanie is much more serious because she feels the need to protect herself.

College girl problems

When Ari (Vico Escorcia) sees Liam (Hank Northrop) at the bookstore, she tries to get friendly with him and see why he has been ignoring her. However, he rebuffs her advances. Is that because her mother is right there telling Liam to stay away from his daughter?

Holly (Ashley Puzemis) also has a run in on Monday when she shares words with Sophia (Rachel Boyd). Her former BFF tries to bait her, but will Holly take the bait? Is this all a part of Sophia’s grand plan with Kristen (Stacy Haiduk)?
