General Hospital might have thought it was presenting us with a compelling plot when Jordan and Curtis were involved in a horrific car crash that left Jordan scarred. However, this story is not playing out the way the show may have hoped. That was never so apparent than on the May 13, 2026, episode.
General Hospital PSA: Don’t kiss and drive
Jordan (Tanish Harper) leaned over to kiss Curtis (Donnell Turner). Jordan took her eyes off the road. Jordan saw a car coming at her head-on. Jordan swerved to miss it. Jordan, and Jordan alone, crashed her car into an embankment. The end.
Well, that should be the end, but nope, Curtis has to make it into something else and now Jordan is following suit. That other car that Jordan tried to avoid? It did not hit her. And driving off after a near-collision in which neither car touched? That’s not a crime.
Jordan and Curtis have no idea if the other driver even knew they crashed, but they have decided Jordan wouldn’t have been scarred if help would have arrived sooner. Well, maybe if Curtis hadn’t spent half an episode trying to get Jordan out of the wrong side of the car, she also wouldn’t be scarred. (Yes, we know he didn’t want to move her body across the front seat, but this was a dire situation.)
The Valentin connection
So, now Curtis wants to go after Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) because Isaiah happens to have a black German SUV, which countless Upstate New York residents likely drive. And Jordan wants that other driver to pay because now she has to have plastic surgery to repair her burns.
It’s also pretty clear that Curtis would like nothing more than to see Isaiah prosecuted because of his relationship with Portia (Brook Kerr). Of course, Isaiah didn’t commit a crime, so we’re not quite sure what Curtis would want him prosecuted for.
But is Curtis thinking about what would happen if there was a trial? Curtis actually did commit a crime that night. If it weren’t for Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), Jordan would likely be dead because he is the one who got the passenger door open. Curtis never told anyone that international fugitive Valentin appeared in the night out of nowhere. Not reporting the Valentin connection is an actual crime. If Curtis pursues this, he could be in more trouble than whoever it was who Jordan swerved to miss…
