“I think after Full House and growing up and everything, they’ve had an extremely different trajectory than any of the rest of us.”
She continued and added:
“People say, ‘Oh, well, do you guys not talk? Is it bad?’ No, they were 8 years old when the show finished. We weren’t as close as we were. I didn’t see them all the time.”
While talking to McBride about how it was her “formative years” filming for Full House, Jodie Sweetin said:
“You’re just like, ‘Oh they don’t have as much recollection as maybe I do. I was 5 to 13—all of my elementary, middle school, quote unquote growing up experience. So, it was impactful. It was all I ever knew. They did it and then, you know, maybe had a like few years of really remembering it and then moved on and did a whole host of other things in their life.”
During her conversation on the podcast, Jodie also shared how Ashley and Mary-Kate have stayed away from the limelight for over ten years after Full House came to an end in 1995. She mentioned that while they have been a part of the fashion industry, they have focused more on their brand, The Row.
