Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube Part 2 episode 9 kicks off on a stormy afternoon. School is out, and Makoto, Katsuya, and Kyoko are looking for Miki. Turns out she got left behind during a game of hide and seek, but that comes later. Ms. Ritsuko spots them and tells them to head home before the storm hits. She mentions she last saw Miki near the school gates, but she herself has to hand over the keys to Nube before she leaves.
Downstairs, Hiroshi is the one who finds Miki inside the school building after his soccer practice was cut short by the rain. And just as the three of them, Nube included, are waiting out the rain, a car crashes through the school gate. It is wrecked. Broken windshield, damaged bumper, dirt all over.
A man and a woman step out and beg Nube to hide them. Their reason? Monsters are chasing them. Right on cue, a group of figures with ringed staffs walks through the gate. This is where Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube Part 2 episode 9 starts to get really interesting.
Nube identifies them as the Shichinin Misaki. Hiroshi is quick to point out that there are only five of them, not seven. Nube explains that long ago, seven wicked monks died and became vengeful spirits. Their horrible grudges kept them bound together, forced to wander as a group. But here is the scary part. In Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube Part 2 episode 9, the group is down to five. And that is not a good thing. The Shichinin Misaki must always be seven. If they are short, they kill humans to fill the empty spots. Two missing means two people are going to die.

Nube sends Hiroshi and Miki upstairs with the couple and goes to hold the spirits off himself. He sets up barriers and even uses Spirit Bind to keep them in place, but the Shichinin are strong. Their combined grudges make them nearly impossible to stop. One of them hits Nube hard in the head. But he grabs onto one of its legs to slow it down. That does not stop them.
If anything, Nube put himself in more danger. That Shichinin stopped and turned around to properly beat Nube up. They walk right past him into the building. Nube ends up face-down on the ground, blood pooling around him.
Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube Part 2 Episode 9 Takes a Wild Turn
While this is going on, Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube Part 2 episode 9 takes a breather with a funny scene upstairs. Miki casually asks the couple if they are dating. The woman, Chiyo, says sort of. Then she flips the question to Miki and Hiroshi. Miki says she would not mind Hiroshi as a boyfriend if he were to become a famous soccer player. Hiroshi is not having it. They start bickering, and it is honestly adorable. Then the man, Kirato, hears the sound of the staffs. He makes an excuse about the bathroom, and the two of them slip out.
And this is where things take a dark turn in Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube Part 2 episode 9. In the hallway, Kirato and Chiyo spot the Shichinin, and instead of panicking, they start calculating.
The monsters will leave once they have two people. So who are the two people? Miki and Hiroshi. Back in the classroom, Miki finds a news report on her phone about Kirato Imi and Chiyo Enga. Armed robbery. Multiple murders. These are the exact people they have been hiding.

Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube Part 2 episode 9 then reveals what is inside the wrecked car downstairs. Bags of money, gold, jewellery, and a bloody knife. Everything clicks. The couple hit two of the Shichinin with their car on a mountain road. Those two spirits crossed over because the crime done to them matched the crime they committed in life. That is how two of the seven were released. But the Shichinin Misaki must always be seven. And that is why the remaining five are after Kirato and Chiyo.
Kirato and Chiyo come back to the classroom and tie Hiroshi and Miki up in hopes of using them to replace the two Shichinin Misaki that they killed. Kirato grabs Miki and Hiroshi and throws them straight at the Shichinin. Then they run. Miki and Hiroshi scream for Nube. He shows up and unleashes his demon hand, slicing through some of the spirits. But they just pull themselves back together. Their grudges are too strong even for the demon hand.
The ending of Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube Part 2 episode 9 is brutal and poetic at the same time. Kirato and Chiyo make it to the car. Kirato climbs onto the hood to pull out the staff lodged in the windshield. Lightning strikes. The car catches fire. Fuel had leaked under Chiyo’s feet.
Both of them go up in flames, and the car explodes. The five Shichinin Misaki gather around their bodies and bring them back, not to life, but into the group. Kirato and Chiyo are now two of the seven in Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube Part 2 episode 9, cursed to wander the earth for all eternity, never able to cross over.

They got exactly what they deserved. King of funny that Chiyo kept the glasses.
Conclusion
Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube Part 2 episode 9 is one of those episodes that balances everything well. It has comedy, horror, lore, and a satisfying ending all packed into one. The Shichinin Misaki are genuinely terrifying, and the twist with Kirato and Chiyo makes the whole thing even more rewarding. Nube takes a beating this episode, but still shows up when it counts. And watching two cold-blooded criminals get folded into the very curse they caused? That is the kind of ending that sticks with you.
