The WWE star’s appearance on Cam’ron and Ma$e’s podcast turned physical just 2 days out.
With WrestleMania 42 less than 48 hours away, WWE star Jey Uso managed to generate headlines in a setting that had nothing to do with a wrestling ring. An appearance on Cam’ron and Ma$e’s podcast descended into a physical confrontation this morning, leaving viewers and wrestling fans debating what they had just witnessed.
Uso was a guest on Come And Talk 2 Me, the popular podcast co-hosted by rappers Cam’ron and Ma$e. What began as a promotional sit-down ahead of one of the biggest nights of Uso’s career escalated into a full scuffle after a series of increasingly pointed exchanges between the two men.
How the tension built
The friction started early. When Uso acknowledged that he would not place himself above fellow wrestler Roman Reigns in terms of standing within his own family, Cam’ron responded with a pointed interjection that set a dismissive tone for the rest of the interview. The conversation grew tenser as Cam’ron made repeated jabs, questioning where Uso ranked among his family’s considerable wrestling legacy and pressing him on comparisons to The Rock.
Uso remained relatively composed through much of the exchange, though the atmosphere in the studio was clearly charged. At one point, Uso pushed back directly, telling Cam’ron he was coming across as disrespectful. Cam’ron disagreed, and the back-and-forth continued to simmer.
The moment that crossed the line
The confrontation reached its breaking point when Cam’ron made a pointed comment about Uso’s placement on the WrestleMania 42 card. The rapper noted that Uso’s match was scheduled for the Saturday night show rather than the more prestigious Sunday broadcast, adding that he could not smell what the Uce was cooking, a direct reference to one of Uso’s most recognizable catchphrases. He then told Uso he looked like he had a problem with that.
Jey stood up from his seat, walked past Cam’ron, reached out, pulled him off the desk, and threw him to the ground. Staff members rushed in immediately to separate the two, and the podcast feed was cut shortly after the scuffle broke out. When the show returned, it was revealed that Ma$e had called security during the incident. Cam’ron was seen on the floor covering his head as Uso was escorted away. Cam’ron subsequently removed Uso from the set entirely.
What it means for WrestleMania 42
Jey is scheduled to compete in the opening match of WrestleMania 42 Night 1, set for April 18 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. He will team with Jimmy Uso and LA Knight to face Logan Paul, Austin Theory, and IShowSpeed in what is expected to be one of the more energetic matchups on the card.
The incident raises questions about whether WWE will address the altercation publicly, whether it could factor into any storyline developments, and whether it carries any professional consequences for Uso ahead of the event. Wrestling insiders are divided on whether Uso was justified in reacting physically to sustained provocation or whether the moment required more restraint given the timing and the platform.
What is not in question is that Jey Uso’s name is dominating conversation across both the wrestling and hip-hop communities two days before the biggest show of the year.
