Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on General Hospital
It’s not very often that the holy grail of soaps arrives — the perfect episode — but when it does, it is something to behold. There was not a moment of the March 25, 2026, episode of General Hospital that didn’t tug at our heartstrings and have us on the edge of our seats. From Rocco’s soul-crushing confession to Danny’s anguish at watching his dad be driven away to parts unknown, all we wanted to do was hug these boys. And we also wanted to hug Sidwell. Sure, he is a ruthless villain who shot Professor Dalton in cold blood right in his living room, but a father is a father and Sidwell’s beloved son is gone. At least Lucas got a hug from Aunt Ava and Rocco got plenty of hugs from his mom. And Carly got a hug from Valentin. However, there will be nobody to give Jason a hug. As Alexis said, she had just witnessed government-sanctioned kidnapping as the WSB took Jason to disappear him. And we know Alexis is going to fight to bring him back. This was Jason’s exit story and there were casualties all around. Marco died, teens’ lives changed forever, Carly found a new hero, and Britt wondered what comes next, as we all do. When Jason does return by summer, there will be so much story left to tell — and that’s just the way we like it.
