The much-hyped Disney+ presentation, The Punisher: One Last Kill finally dropped today. The 48-minute long special presentation follows Frank exclusively after his escape from Wilson Fisk’s Red Hook port detention facility in the post-credit scene of the Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 finale. However, one noticeable aspect of One Last Kill is that it doesn’t include references to Fisk’s administration or even appearance from the AVTF.
Instead, The presentation opens with Frank considering quitting his one-man war on crime and walking back on that decision as he decides to continue as The Punisher. The official logline of The Punisher: One Last Kill reads:
“As Frank Castle searches for meaning beyond revenge, an unexpected force pulls him back into the fight.”

The Punisher: One Last Kill starts with Frank Castle doing physically taxing pushups as his hans begin to bleed. Meanwhile, we see a common street thug attack a homeless veteran, take his cap, and dog. Then, the thug throws the dog under the bus. Then the scene cuts to Castle locking his weapons and placing the key at his wife’s grave.
The first act of The Punisher: One Last Kill shows us a Frank Castle, who believes that his war on crime is over, haunted by “ghosts” soldiers, Curtis, and even Karen. Just before visiting his wife’s grave, Castle visit a cofee shop, where the store owner’s daughter seems to suspect him of being The Punisher. After that, Castle is walking through a crime-ridden neighborhood caused by the murder of the Gnucci crime family.
Later, as Frank returns from the graveyard, we see Castle meet Ma Gnucci who reveals that he killed all of her family. She warns him that Frank will meet his end the day this special takes place, at the same time he killed her youngest son. This sets up the third act of One Last Kill, which is a one big battle scene. However, just before the battle begins, we see Castle hallucinating the “ghost” of Karen.
After that, countless thugs break into the apartment building Castle is staying and the battle begins. Frank Castle who doesn’t have access to his weapons because of the key being at his wife’s grave stone, becomes The Punisher again, and he improvises throughout the entire battle. He uses the guns and weapons of dead thugs to battle the oncoming attackers.
With great difficulty, Frank escapes the building by jumping from it, injuring him. As Castle limps towards Ma Gnucci, who is driving away from the neighborhood, Castle sees the coffeeshop owner and his daughter being attacked by the thugs. Instead of going after Ma Gnucci, Castle runs to the shop and saves the girl’s life.
After that Castle visits his family’s grave and tells his daughter’s grave that he met someone like her today, alluding to the coffeeshop girl. The next day, Castle in his Punisher armor stops the thug from the start of the presentations forces him to return the homeless vet’s cap. The vet also informs him that cap wasn’t the only thing that the thug took.
As that happens, Castle throws a knife at the thug, injuring him, but not killing him. Then, Frank Castle walks up to the thug and pulls him, and the screen cuts to black, ending The Punisher: One Last Kill.
