Hudson Williams is in hot water after his pre-famous photograph resurfaced online, showing a swastika drawn across his face.
A throwback photo of the Heated Rivalry lead has spread on social media over the weekend, and prompted widespread discussion. Per insiders, the picture was taken during his high school years in a little Canadian town.
They added that students often took part in an annual campout tradition involving parties, underage drinking, and group activities where they marked each other with Sharpie drawings.
The same sources mentioned that Hudson Williams did not know that this marking had been written on his face.
They also referred to this incident in context of chaotic behavior by a group of drunk teenagers who would mark each other in an attempt at humor.
“The markings do not and have never reflected Hudson’s beliefs, values, or character.”
The friend said the actor has no connection to the symbol and did not understand what had been drawn on him during the event.
As of now, there have been no statements made from Hudson Williams’ representatives regarding the picture, and it is unknown whether he will speak about this issue publicly or not.
How the internet is reacting to Hudson Williams’ controversial photo
Meanwhile, as Hudson Williams’ resurfaced image continues to circulate on the web, social media lit up with various comments about the matter.
“Is he being ignorant or what? Even if he didn’t know what was written on his face, did he not see those photos and ask his friends to delete them?” one wrote on X/Twitter.
“so he was surrounded by friends with swastika, aids and hitler’s mustache drawn on them but innocently didn’t know it was on him too and even after finding it out through photos or a f****** mirror he decided to stay friends with these people, ok amazing excuse,” another commented.

“His fans cooked up this lie for him btw. This is the excuse they’re running with. They had people at the party dressed like hitler and it was an all white party and their token wasian friend had a swastika on his forehead,” an X user opined.
“So what you’re saying is that he was hate crimed as a kid – because drawing that symbol on a POC’s face is the very definition of a hate crime. Sounds like he was bullied by his white classmates,” a social media user noted.
“his team scrambling to contact tmz of all news outlets lmao f****** embarrassing. guess the smoke up his a*** this time was too hard to ignore unlike the last time when his acc with the slurs got exposed, he’s collecting scandals like infinity stones. is this hudkarma,” another replied.

Hudson Williams is known for his role in the hit queer hockey drama Heated Rivalry, which has recently brought him increased visibility. In the series, he acts opposite Connor Storrie who portrays his love interest, Ilya Rozanov.
Other cast members include François Arnaud, Sophie Nélisse, Christina Chang, Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova, Colton Stewart, Robbie Graham-Kuntz, and more.
