Emily Blunt’s sister and Stanley Tucci’s wife, Felicity Blunt is 45 years old. Spotlight star Stanley Tucci, 65 in a recent interview with Jenna Bush Hager on her podcast Open Back defended his 21-year age gap with wife, Felicity Blunt, 45.
Tucci was previously married to social worker Kathryn Spath from 1995 until she died from cancer in 2009. Tucci mentioned that he initially didn’t think that he’d ever get married again.
“I wasn’t sure that I would ever remarry. I never thought I would have children again. And when I met her, it just sort of made sense, even though there is this age gap of 21 years. And obviously, I knew her family, or I knew her sister was one of my best friends. And we just hit it off.”
Stanley explained that Felicity has changed his life by giving him and his children “a sense of security”. Tucci mentioned that Felicity is “fun to hang out with” and described her as an “incredibly positive” person.

Stanley Tucci first met Felicity Blunt in 2006 at the premiere of The Devil Wears Prada film. Felicity’s sister, Emily Blunt plays the role of Emily Charlton, one of the main characters in the film.
The two reacquainted themselves when they attended Emily’s wedding to John Krasinski in 2010, a year after Stanley’s first wife, Kathryn “Kate” Spath-Tucci died in 2009 from breast cancer. The two began dating shortly afterwards.
This is not the first time Tucci has commented on the 21-age gap between him and his wife. During a July, 2023 appearance on BBC’s Desert Island Discs podcast, Tucci opened up that he was “afraid” of the age gap during the early years of his relationship,
“I was kind of afraid to get into a relationship, and I kept trying to break it off because I’m 21 years older than she is and I didn’t want to feel old for the rest of my life. But I knew this was an incredibly special person.”
Stanley mentioned that he was also the first person to break the news to Felicity’s sister, Emily Blunt, before Felicity could reveal their relationship. The two tied the knot in 2012, and share two children. Stanley Tucci is also a dad to three children with his first wife, Kate.
While the couple has received public criticism for the age gap, they seem to be going strong.
