How much did Nipsey Hussle’s kids just receive from his estate?

Nipsey Hussle’s two children have finally received their share of the late rapper’s estate, according to court documents obtained by TMZ. The payout closes out a process that has stretched on for years since Hussle was killed in March 2019.

How much Nipsey’s estate was worth

Hussle’s estate was reportedly valued at around $11 million at the time it was settled. His daughter Emani, now 17, and his son Kross, now 9, were named as the estate’s sole beneficiaries, with each entitled to an even split. The exact dollar amount paid out to the children remains sealed in the court filing, though both kids received the same 50% share.

Who is managing the estate

The estate has been run by Nipsey’s brother, Samiel Asghedom, known professionally as Blacc Sam. According to the court documents, the payout included cash along with other assets, among them a 2012 Chevy Suburban, a stake in Hussle’s Marathon Clothing company, and various trademarks tied to his name and brand.

A years long dispute is finally settled

Getting to this point took time. Blacc Sam and Tanisha Foster, Emani’s mother, spent years in disagreement over how the inheritance should be handled before resolving their differences last year. Lauren London, who was Hussle’s girlfriend at the time of his death and is Kross’s mother, signed off on the paperwork acknowledging receipt of her son’s share of the payout.

Hussle was fatally shot in Los Angeles in March 2019 at age 33, a case TMZ first reported at the time. More than seven years later, the financial side of his legacy for his two children has now been settled.
