Former Love & Hip Hop: Miami star, Sukihana is pregnant!
The rapper sat down with PEOPLE magazine and shared an exclusive about how she feels blessed and really excited. Sukihana expressed how this pregnancy came at a difficult time for her and how she is looking at it as a gift.
“This baby came into my life at a time when I truly needed a reminder of purpose and love. I’ve lived a lot of my life loudly, but this moment is something I wanted to protect until I was ready to share it with the world.”
She added, “I wanted to protect myself and my baby, and I wanted to make sure my baby was fully developed and healthy before I let anybody know about what was so sacred to me.”
This is her 4th child, and the rapper, whose real name is Destiny Henderson, further spoke about what this pregnancy means for her, calling it her own “rebirth,”
“I’m really excited to meet this baby, and I’m already feeling like kicks and everything, so I’m very happy right now. And I’m happy to go into a different part of my life. I feel like it is also a rebirth for me. I’m so happy that I’m healthy and I’m birthing a healthy baby.”
The 34-year-old also spoke about lifestyle changes this has brought on, especially about her eating habits.
“Before I got pregnant, I [was] very disciplined, and I wouldn’t even eat anything besides within my meal prep. So now I eat a lot of different foods, and I’m not so hard on myself. I understand that I’m feeding another human. So I’m actually enjoying not having a diet. I’m so happy with that,” joking, “I can eat now.”
Sukihana has a daughter and two sons currently, making this new baby the 4th addition to her family.
