Catherine Bach enjoyed a recent night-out in Nashville, following her health scare in 2025.
The Dukes of Hazzard actress, aged 72, posted photos from a dinner at Halls Chophouse in Tennessee, along with her friend, Abbie Celis. In the photos, she wore a red top, jeans, and boots, all resembling the style of clothing that was seen on her role in the popular TV show from the 1980s.
Catherine Bach also accompanied her new images with a heartfelt caption.
“Through so many of life’s milestones, we’re more than friends, we’re family! Xoxo”
The actress made a follow-up post, a selfie with Celis, in which she left a simple but sweet message: “FAMILY.”
Catherine Bach’s dinner outing comes six months after she was reportedly hospitalized. Back in October, Ben Jones, her co-star from The Dukes of Hazzard, posted on Facebook, saying:
“Our dear Catherine Bach has just been admitted to the hospital in Los Angeles on an emergency basis. Catherine has an embolism that probably developed as a result of a recent surgery.”
On the same platform, John Schneider, Catherine Bach’s onscreen cousin, also confirmed she was brought to the hospital.
“Attention Dukes of Hazzard family!! I just texted Catherine, and thankfully, she responded right away. Yes, she is in the hospital, but she assures me that she is going to be fine. She appreciates all our prayers and support and is truly disappointed not to be traveling this weekend. We love you, Catherine!!”
Catherine Bach on The Dukes of Hazzard‘s legacy: “Shows are a mystical thing”
Catherine Bach is well-known for her role as the feisty and courageous Daisy Duke in The Dukes of Hazzard, a series which revolves around the lives of two cousins, Bo and Luke Duke, who produce and sell moonshine liquor from their farm while dodging the corrupt local authorities.
Her character became an ultimate favorite. With her character, she popularized ultra-short and cutoff denim shorts, which became known as “Daisy Dukes.” Bach herself designed or customized many of these shorts.
The TV show ran from 1979 to 1985, with a total of 147 episodes. In a 2024 interview with Fox News, the actress spoke about the show’s legacy:
“Shows are a mystical thing at best, because you never know what’s going to work and how things are going to click.”
At the time, she also hinted that she still wears her Daisy Dukes.
“If you come to my house and watch me garden. Or the beach. I’ll be honest, at the beach.”
Following this breakthrough role, Bach played a recurring part in the series The Young and the Restless from 2012 to 2019.
Starring as Anita Lawson in the series, she is a conniving, money-conscious, and irrepressible con artist, and the mother of Chelsea, played by Melissa Claire Egan.
Bach also starred in African Skies, a TV series that aired from 1992 to 1994. The show revolves around two teenagers, one black and one white, as they navigate life in South Africa post-Apartheid amid their opposing rural and urban lifestyles.
