How involved is Taylor Sheridan in his shows? Here’s what Marshals star Arielle Kebbel has revealed

It seems Taylor Sheridan maintains a notably hands-off presence on his television productions as Marshals star Arielle Kebbel is opening up on how she has never even met him in real life. Speaking to PEOPLE, the actress spoke about how other co-stars have had similar experiences, and added that he is a busy person in general.

Speraking to the outlet she stated how “no one ever sees him” as she said,

“It’s funny. I was talking with some of the cast of his other shows, and at least in my experience, Taylor’s like the man behind the curtain. No one ever sees him. The man is busy. So I actually have not met him.”

She then clarifed that his non involvement might have to do with the fact that Marshals is just a hybrid of Yellowstone and is led by a different show creator and not Sheridan. Despite his limited on-set presence, Sheridan remains significantly involved in his productions from a creative standpoint. For Marshals specifically, Sheridan serves as executive producer. Speaking about that she added,

“For our show, it’s a bit of a different story because our show is truly a hybrid of the Yellowstone universe, with Taylor’s blessing and Taylor executive producing and 101 Studios behind us. Also, Spencer Hudnut is our show creator. So, just in terms of the character development and story arcs, it’s really a merger of the world that Taylor [created with Yellowstone] with this new chapter that Spencer’s created.”

What has also helped in bridging both the shows is how stars from Yellowstone, including Brecken Merrill, Gil Birmingham Mo Brings Plenty have starred on the new show, keeping things familiar while also adding on new characters.
