On the Tuesday, May 5, 2026, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Hope was ready to make a big decision, Electra whined to RJ, and Dylan learned more about Remy.
Liam is ready for a new Hope
In Katie’s office, all Hope could do was talk about how selfish Steffy was. She was getting short shrift again as Steffy made yet another unilateral decision about her line. All this kid was give Liam more impetus to beg Hope to work for Logan, her “actual” family, as Liam put it.
Hope admitted it was a tempting thought, but didn’t want to blow up her relationship with her mother over fashion. Katie wanted to welcome home aboard, but Hope was still hesitant, so Liam stepped in. If Hope were to work for Logan, there would be no limitations and she could do whatever she wanted. Hope would even be valued and respected.
Katie laid it on thick as she tried to convince Hope, but Katie also knew that they had to think about Brooke’s reaction, which would surely be unhinged. Liam tried to make the whole idea sound fun and appealing. Hope and Liam could even drive to work together. Hope promised to at least consider leaving Forrester. It’s been on her mind since the moment Liam mentioned it.
Steffy and Ridge underestimate Hope
In Eric’s office, all Steffy could do was go off on Hope for “acting like a teenager” and wanting her line to get a little bit of TLC. But Steffy wanted to turn her attention to Eric’s line, so Hope would just have to wait. Steffy thought Hope was being selfish, but Hope thought the same of Steffy.
Ridge tried to defend Hope, as he understood why she was upset, but all Steffy felt from her sometimes stepsister and sometimes sister-wife were bitterness and contempt. She had to understand that Eric’s couture line had to come first. Steffy thought Hope was lucky to even have a job after that coup business with Carter last year.
When Steffy brought up Hope threatening to leave FC, all Ridge could do was scoff at the idea. Steffy also thought it was silly because Hope was “nothing” without Forrester.
Hope soon arrived to ask Ridge about her line, as Steffy stood there in disbelief. The words “Does Hope have a one-track mind?” were written all over Steffy’s face. Then, Hope went for it and told Ridge and Steffy that it would be their loss if she weren’t valued. She asked Ridge for a commitment, for him to tell her she had a real place at FC.
Steffy asked what Hope would do if she didn’t get the answer she wanted. Hope had to think about it before she responded.
Dylan and Remy catch up
Dylan and Remy continued to argue in the Forrester Creations dressing room. He claimed he was there when she needed him, so now he needs Dylan to return the favor. Remy knew he was hated at FC, but felt desperate. Remy apologized for wearing a wig earlier, but it’s not like he could have risked someone seeing him.
Dylan quickly pointed out why Remy was persona non grata at FC. Remy didn’t have much of a defense, so he again told Dylan he was sorry for freaking her out earlier. As they spoke, the audience learned that they didn’t grow up together. Remy lived in Texas and Dylan was from the Midwest.
Finally, Remy admitted to what he did and how much he regretted hurting Electra. Remy lamented that he dreamed of making it in the fashion world, something that he and Electra had spoken about in the past. However, his mind was on someone else who wanted Dylan’s help in getting Deke to see how sorry he was.
Dylan was shocked to learn that Deke and Remy were once an item. She didn’t even blame Deke for breaking up with Remy after what Deke had done to Electra. Remy needed Deke to know he wasn’t a good person, but Dylan wasn’t sure if she could help.
Electra opens up to RJ on The Bold and the Beautiful
RJ found Electra sitting alone in the design office with her jewelry. RJ wanted Electra to design something to go with one of the gowns he was creating. Too bad RJ could also tell that Electra was distracted. That’s when Electra told RJ all about what Remy did to her. He admitted that made him jealous, but he knew he was wrong for what he did.
RJ was appalled to learn about the multiple deep fakes. When Electra brought up Will’s name, RJ almost went off, but Electra stressed that Will had saved her from Remy. Even RJ was grateful for what Will had done, but still stressed that he wasn’t a fan of the guy. RJ promised that he was there for Electra in case she needed him.
