The Bold and the Beautiful’s June 25 episode put Hope in an impossible position as the Logan fashion show drew one step closer.
Hope’s Guilt Takes Over
Hope and Katie finalized the plans for the Hope Logan collection, and everything was ready to go. Only one more day until Hope was forced to look her mother in the eye after betraying her in front of the entire world. Liam believed that Brooke would eventually come around because her love for Hope was stronger than her disdain for Katie and Logan.
Bill and Katie urged Hope to get some rest, but heading home was going to be more uncomfortable than ever. The cabin was undergoing renovations, so they were forced to remain under the same roof as Brooke and Ridge. There was no escaping the awkward feeling in the room while they withheld the biggest secret of their lives from them.
After Hope and Liam left, Will was visibly uncomfortable regarding Shauna and the new jewelry line. He was afraid that Electra’s reaction was going to be less than positive, and the Hope for the Future diamond was going to send it over the edge. Electra was recently touting how much she loved that precious jewel, so to know Will’s parents were in possession of it was going to sting her to the core.
Bill drilled it into his son that despite his own personal relationship with Electra, he needed to keep his mouth shut. This was a business decision, and giving Electra that heads-up about Shauna’s jewelry could put Logan at a severe disadvantage.
Later on, Will returned home to the beach house, and Electra immediately picked up on the tension bothering him. While she tried to ease his frustration with a neck rub, she droned on about secrets. This was going to potentially destroy his recently rebuilt relationship, and this time, he may not be able to repair the damage.
Brooke and Ridge Stay in the Dark
Brooke and Ridge had dinner in their living room, and they were both firmly under the impression that Hope was still returning to Forrester Creations. They didn’t even seem to suspect for a single solitary second that Hope had signed a contract with Logan to serve as the face and creative inspiration for its latest collection.
Ridge made a dig toward Liam about the new line coming, which only made for awkward conversation. Hope pretended like she had no idea about Deke joining Logan as the new designer. She was digging even further into her lies, and once the truth does come out, it’s going to make it that much more painful for Brooke.
Ridge suggested that he and Brooke should watch the Logan fashion show in person, but luckily Brooke seemingly sided against that. However, Hope was put in an incredibly difficult position after learning that Zende was named the new lead designer of Hope for the Future. Her decision to sneakily exit Forrester was going to impact him in a monumental way.
Brooke was concerned that Hope was originally not going to come back. However, now that her line is being put back in action, she was allegedly heading back into the mix. This was too much for Hope to take on. It was starting to make her feel physically ill because she was consistently lying to everyone around her.
Hope was making the choice that she felt was needed to advance her career. Unfortunately, the downside of that is that it is seemingly coming at the expense of Zende and everyone who works on Hope for the Future. This could be the final straw that permanently burns her bridge with Forrester Creations. Steffy is never going to let her back into the building once the truth is revealed to the entire fashion world.
Liam pleaded with Hope to take a breath and calm down. His words didn’t have the calming impact that he wanted. Hope was convinced that her own mother would view her as a traitor and never find a way to forgive her.
Hope normally led with honesty, so keeping everything shrouded in secrecy wasn’t the norm. However, it was a done deal. Hope by Logan was hours away from being spotlighted to the most important people in fashion, and Liam assured his wife that he had her back every step of the way.
