ARNE SLOT has “lost control” and “run out of credit” at Anfield, according to Liverpool legend Didi Hamann.
The Reds have lost a staggering nine of their last 12 matches – bombing each of the last three games by three-goal margins.
Wednesday’s 4-1 defeat at home to PSV Eindhoven plunged Slot’s future into further doubt and made Sunday’s trip to West Ham a must-win.
Hamann, who won the Champions League with Liverpool in 2005, reckons Slot’s time is running out.
He told Sky Germany: “I believe Arne Slot has lost control of the team.
“It’s falling apart, everyone is doing what they want, like [Mohamed] Salah before PSV’s second goal.

“Liverpool will have major problems finishing in the Premier League top four. I don’t believe these problems can be solved quickly or easily.
“The situation is so complex that the club will certainly be discussing the manager’s position.
“Slot’s end is near. I never thought it would come to this after the brilliant season he had last year, but I believe his credit has now run out.”
Anfield chiefs are believed to be supporting the Dutchman who masterminded last season’s Premier League triumph.

They backed him with a record-breaking summer transfer splurge but many of their pricey recruits have had problems bedding in.
Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz cost around £240million combined and haven’t managed a Premier League goal between them.
Hamann suspects that’s piling extra pressure on Slot’s shoulders – and even floated a sensational return for former Reds boss Jurgen Klopp.
He continued: “They’ve spent a fortune on players, but none of them have made an impact.
“After Diogo Jota’s death, it wasn’t easy to break into a team that had just lost a team-mate. The question is, how long can you keep using that as an argument?
“Many are already longing for Jurgen Klopp’s return. It would be the story of the decade. The club will already have considered alternative managers. I assume they’ve spoken with Klopp.”
