It’s Grammys day!

On Friday morning (November 7), the Recording Academy announced all of the nominations for the 2026 Grammys, which will be taking place in February 2026.

Now that all of the nominations have been announced, many fans might be confused as to why Taylor Swift‘s latest album The Life of a Showgirl didn’t receive any nominations.

Keep reading to find out more…The 35-year-old 14-time Grammy winner’s new album missed the 2026 Grammys‘ eligibility window, which was from August 31, 2024 through August 30, 2025.

Taylor released The Life of a Show on October 3, 2025, so that means the album will be eligible for the 2027 Grammys.

The 2026 Grammys will be taking place on February 1, 2026 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS and streamed on Paramount+.
