Sean Murray plays Special Agent Timothy McGee in NCIS Season 23 Episode 12. In this episode, the team investigates a case involving the mysterious death of a Navy Chief Warrant Officer. He was stabbed to death, and from his car, the team found a photograph of a woman related to McGee’s past. The photo belonged to Dr. Olivia, whom McGee dated for six months or so. Olivia broke up over eighteen years ago because she wanted to focus on her career.
A couple of months ago, Olivia contacted McGee asking for his help, but McGee didn’t respond. With Olivia missing, the team started to investigate her last whereabouts and workplace. They found that she had an eighteen-year-old son, Mateo, who was working under a fake alias in his mother’s company. In fact, it was Mateo who assigned Martin to look for his mother. McGee felt that Mateo could be his son since Olivia was in a relationship with him eighteen years back. He ordered a DNA test, which proved that McGee is Mateo’s biological father. In the end, Olivia was rescued, and she reunited with her son, Mateo.
Rocky Carroll as Director Leon Vance
Rocky Carroll plays Director Leon Vance in NCIS Season 23 Episode 12. Apart from his tiff with Agent Parker, Director Vance shared a sad update about the agency. Initially, it was rumoured that the Army CID was to be dissolved due to financial constraints. Turns out, it was NCIS that was dissolved. Director Vance tried his best to stop NCIS from falling into a trap due to the financial cuts; unfortunately, he failed.
Elena Goode guest stars as Dr. Olivia Garcia
Elena Goode guest stars as Dr. Olivia Garcia, a microbiologist and McGee’s former partner in NCIS Season 23. She went missing around six weeks ago, and he son took up an internship in her company under a fake alias to find her. She was working at the Trask Lab researching a smart drug to aid soldiers. However, turns out the one who kidnapped Olivia was someone from her past. Olivia worked in a pharmaceutical company previously, and the lawyers of the company made sure that the company’s victims didn’t get any relief. One such victim’s husband worked as a chef at TURF, and he kidnapped Olivia. He tried to kidnap Mateo, too, but failed. The team finally rescued Olivia.

- Patrick Keleher as Pete/Mateo, Olivia, and McGee’s eighteen-year-old son. In this episode, Mateo takes up a false identity of Pete to join his mother’s workplace, Trask Lab, in the hope of finding out about his mother. His mother was missing for the last six weeks. He was raised by Olivia. Turns out, McGee dated Olivia eighteen years ago, but they broke off after Olivia wanted to focus on her career. McGee never knew he had a son until this case popped up, and he got a DNA test done. In the end, Olivia was rescued, and the family was reunited at the hospital.
