High Potential Season 2 Episode 16 brings forth a case of murder, which requires Morgan to not just rely on her intellect and observational skills, but also requires her to get some help from her past acquaintances. Morgan and the team come across a murder case where the victim, Tyler, was murdered by a blunt force to the head and fell to his death on a uniquely shaped building.
As the case progressed, the significance of the building came to the forefront, creating further intrigue. On the other hand, Soto was engrossed in Willa’s situation. She understood that knowing that Eric Hayworth could help her would make Willa worry. In this episode of the series, Morgan’s dynamic with Karadec takes a distinct turn, especially after Karadec goes through a life-threatening situation with the blast.
The manner in which Morgan takes care of Karadec while also bringing him chocolate chip cookies with the choco chips removed with care, just as Karadec likes, shows the concern she has for him. Kaitlin Olson does a memorable job in bringing forth this distinct side of Morgan in this episode of High Potential Season 2.
3) Jennifer Jason Leigh as Willa Quinn
With projects such as The Hateful Eight, Short Cuts, etc. Jennifer Jason Leigh’s impeccable performance, which can be seen in her other projects, can also be seen in the manner in which she handles Willa’s character in High Potential Season 2.
Willa is not just a simple antagonistic character but a character with layers and depth. There is a mysterious air about her, which further adds to the intrigue. This aspect of Willa’s nature has been captured with utmost realism by Jennifer Jason Leigh in the series.
In this episode, viewers are able to know more about Willa and her abilities after she is able to transfer Hayworth so that she can get access to him. She is also involved with Wagner’s father, which depicts that she has powerful connections.
4) Steve Howey as Nick Wagner
Steve Howey’s Nick Wagner played a crucial part in this episode of High Potential Season 2. Nick gets called by his father to make sure Morgan takes the job that his father is offering. Initially, Nick offers the job to Morgan following his father’s wishes.
However, later in the episode, when Morgan tells Wagner that she is pondering the job, Wagner reveals the truth about his identity. He also urges Morgan not to take the job, showing that he is showing his true side without any facade.
