Nanno’s arrival brings forth many lessons for the bullies in Girl from Nowhere: The Reset Episode 1

The first episode of Girl from Nowhere: The Reset starts with a student named Sky getting immensely bullied by his classmates. His classmates corner him and begin to beat him. One of them also begins to urinate on Sky as he tries to hide his face. As Sky lies on the ground, seething in pain and anger, his bullies leave him to suffer.

The scene then cuts to Sky attempting to kill himself after being humiliated in such a manner. He decides to hang himself. It is also revealed that before deciding to end his life, Sky tried to search for the existence of Nanno, who could help him get revenge against his bullies. He searched the internet profusely in search of her. Nanno is a student who transfers from school to school, getting brutal revenge on bad people.

The series continues to show snippets of Sky’s life before he eventually makes the decision to end his life. He was being constantly bullied by his classmates, especially by a boy named Jom. In a scene, it is revealed that Sky did not show the correct answers to Jom during an exam. It caused Jom to get a zero. For this, Jom began to beat him up brutally, telling him that he was giving him a last chance to make his report have a higher score than Sky.

This episode of Girl From Nowhere: The Reset continues with Sky writing a report for Jom, which he submits, thinking that the answers Sky has written are correct. However, things take a turn as Sky wrote curse words directed at the teacher in the report.

Jom is called by his teacher, and his father is also informed about the situation. Back at Jom’s home, his father does not speak to Jom. Later, after dinner, Jom is called to the basement of the house where his father tells him how disappointed he is with him. He then asks Jom to give his hand, which he then beats profusely using a heavy object.

The next day, when Sky reaches school, he understands Jom is not going to let him go easily. He tries to escape before Jom is able to catch him, but is unsuccessful. This episode of Girl from Nowhere: The Reset continues with Jom catching Sky in the basement, where he gives him the choice to either beat a dog or get beaten up by him.

Sky tries to attack Jom, but Jom uses a metal ball to attack Sky’s hands in the same manner his father did. Sky is then tied and undressed. He is humiliated immensely while everything is filmed. This humiliation pushes Sky to eventually take the decision to end his life by hanging himself. The moment he is on the verge of dying, Nanno arrives from the sky.

She saves Sky from the brink of death. She then tells him that she sent him a clue on his phone, but he blocked her. This episode of Girl from Nowhere: The Reset continues with Nanno asking Sky about the fears that Jom might have, which would help them form a proper revenge plan. Nanno then puts a toilet seat in Jom’s seat inside the classroom to humiliate him in front of everyone. Jom then begins to get angrier, trying to find out more about Nanno. However, while they try to search, they are not able to find anything.

This episode of Girl from Nowhere: The Reset progresses with Sky being chased by Jom and his two lackeys. They try to catch him, which leads them to a secluded area. Right at that moment, Jom finds that his hand is bleeding. He goes to the nurse’s office to treat the injured area and falls asleep. When he wakes up, he finds that his hand has transformed into a plastic toy hammer.

Nanno’s revenge plan has already started. Seeing his toy hand, every student begins to laugh at him. Trying to get away from everyone, he reaches the basement, where he finds Nanno waiting for him. Nanno puts him in a difficult situation by humiliating him further and making his lackeys film the whole process. At the moment Sky arrives.

However, instead of using the same process to humiliate and torture Jom, he gives him a hand. Jom begins to cry watching the whole process. At the end of this episode in Girl from Nowhere: The Reset, Nanno and Sky speak about the whole situation, especially Sky’s decision not to humiliate Jom further.

Sky tells her that he did not want to become the person he hates. He also says that Nanno helped him to have hope and not give in to difficult situations. Nanno, however, did not expect Sky to give this answer and disappear after clicking a picture with him, ending the first episode of Girl from Nowhere: The Reset in an intriguing manner.
