The revolving door at General Hospital continues to spin as two actors who have connections to the Ashford family return to Port Charles this summer. One’s a Daytime Emmy-winning performer, and both are familiar faces!
Hello, It’s Me

Soap Opera Digest first reported that the characters of Quinn and Marshall are set to come back to the show next month. Quinn is played by Jequan Jackson. Marshall is played by two-time Daytime Emmy award-winning performer Robert Gossett.
Gossett first appeared on the show in late 2021 as Marshall Ashford. He’s been on and off-contract over the years. The show wrote him out last by sending him on a tour, performing music. Marshall last came back to town in December 2025. He won his Daytime Emmys in 2023 and 2024.
Curtis (Donnell Turner) could certainly use his father’s support right now. He’s about to become a father again as Portia (Brooke Kerr) is carrying his child. After hitting Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson), Curtis was brought to the police station and is facing some legal ramifications for his actions. Curtis is convinced that Isaiah is responsible on some level for the car crash that resulted in Jordan (Tanisha Harper) being facially disfigured.
Curtis’s attack on Isaiah has left him (for now) unable to act as a surgeon, given the damage to his hand.
A Brand New Game

Jackson first auditioned for the role of Kai (which went to Jens Austin Astrup). After he didn’t land that role, GH cast him in the part of Quinn, Kai’s football pal. Quinn blamed Trina (Tabyana Ali) for being indirectly responsible for his buddy’s injury.
Jackson’s other credits include Bosch: Legacy, NCIS: Origins, The Waterboyz, East New York, Dynasty, The Resident, The Innocence Files, New Amsterdam, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, FBI, Meditation, The Nurturing of Men, and Nightmare Next Door.
Will Marshall be able to give Curtis the support he needs? And what role will Quinn play in Trina and Kai’s relationship?
