On General Hospital, Barash played Johnny Zacchara, and on Days of our Lives, he was twins Stefan and Jake. Fans have followed the actor through the birth of his first two children, and now, there’s word that he’s going to become a dad for a third time!

“I heard the news today, OH BOY!!!” Barash posted on Instagram, quoting the Beatles tune, “A Day in the Life.”
“Well — we heard the news months ago,” Barash clarifies, “you heard it today. Family pictures are about to look a lil different…and A LOT more love to go around. Baby Barash #3(!?) coming in June! Tennessee, keep bringin’ the blessings 🙏❤️.”
Barash and his wife, Isabella, are expecting their second baby together. The actor’s first child, daughter, Harper Rose Barash, is with his ex-wife, Kirsten Storms (Maxie, GH; ex-Belle, DAYS). Barash and Isabella already have a son, Joaquin Lee Barash, born in 2023.
Barash played Johnny on GH from 2007 to 2016. He stepped into the role of Stefan O. DiMera on DAYS in 2019, taking over the part from his former GH co-star, the late Tyler Christopher (ex-Spencer, GH). Barash played both Stefan and his twin, Jake, on DAYS. First, Stefan was presumed dead, and then, his twin, Jake, made the scene. Then, Jake died, and Stefan came back to life. Recently, it was revealed that Stefan had died…again.

In 2025, Barash relocated to Nashville, Tennessee. The actor’s friends from daytime are chiming in with congratulatory “likes” and messages on his post.
“Congrats to the fam!!!🙌🙌,” Eric Martsolf (Brady, DAYS) posted.
“Awww 🩵🎉 Congratulations to you & your beautiful family! So so happy for ya’ll 🥹,” posted Cherie Jimenez (Gabi, DAYS).
“Ayyy congrats my guy! 🍻,” wrote Robert Scott Wilson (DAYS).
Currently, Stefan on DAYS is presumed dead, but as fans of the Peacock drama can attest, “many die in Salem, but few are buried.”
Also, Johnny was sent to jail about a decade ago for 20 years. In the soap opera world, that practically makes him eligible to be paroled!
