From Season 4 is about to drop, and fans are dying to get some answers. After the Season 3 finale, it is safe to say that the fans want clarity before getting themselves invested in some more inevitable confusion.
While talking about the Season 4 expectations, one Reddit user, @EdwardClamp, said:
“This is my main hope. I’m not too concerned about exactly what we find out but we need to start getting some answers because up to now it’s been questions upon questions.”
This does tell us that the fans are excited, but also tired of chasing clues.
However, will From Season 4 finally explain things, or just stretch the mystery even more?
From Season 4 needs to deal with that Season 3 ending, and not dodge it
From Season 3 killed Jim, revealed the truth about Tabitha and Jade’s past lives, and it also confirmed that the town’s horror runs deeper than anyone would’ve thought.
The Man in the Yellow Suit killing Jim? Let’s be honest, this alone proved that no one is safe anymore. On top of that, Julie trying to change the past and failing? Yeah, we’re all still trying to process that.
Now, going on to From Season 4, fans are expecting a follow-up. They don’t want any more distractions, and this is made known by @harmonycodex on Reddit, who said,
“Honestly, I don’t mind the mystery aspect of the series, but I expect more resolution before they pile up more mysteries.”
The show has already explained big pieces like the bottle tree numbers being music, the “Anghkooey” children meaning “remember,” and the reincarnation cycle being connected to Tabitha and Jade.
But every answer has opened two more questions, and Season 4 cannot keep stacking reveals without ever solving them.
Fans are watching because they’re truly invested, and yes, giving out some answers would be of good help. Jim’s death, Fatima giving birth to Smiley again, and Boyd crossing lines to save his family have pushed everything to a breaking point, and Season 4 has to pick up from there and actually move the story forward.

There is a clear divide in the fandom on Reddit right now. Some fans are hopeful for good storytelling, and there are a few others who think that the story will be dragged on without sorting things out.
@_Lappelduviide shared a much more hopeful take. They said,
“I’m cautiously optimistic that the writers actually have a plan/we will get some answers. The list of episodes to watch before S4 means some aspects have been planned and built on from the beginning.”
The show has been planting details since the start, and yes, the reincarnation twist and the connection to the children could not have come out of thin air.
That being said, not everyone is convinced.

“I hope so too. I would find a lot more satisfaction from this show if they could do that. But my expectation/prediction, based on 3 seasons of evidence, is that they will not… and they will just keep opening more mystery boxes up.”
From Season 4 is also teasing more about the Man in the Yellow Suit, and if he is the one behind the immortality deal and the town’s cycle. As a result, fans expect to get some real and detailed answers about him, and not just another cryptic appearance.
The show has already confirmed a 5th and final season coming later, so we do know that there will be a result for sure. However, whether we end up getting some answers or not, it all depends on when From Season 4 finally releases all of the episodes.
