Former Florida state attorney Dave Aronberg says Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate could spend the rest of their lives behind bars if they are convicted on all pending charges.
This statement was issued in an interview with Piers Morgan, where he was asked about the maximum sentence the brothers can receive upon conviction.
“The rest of their lives in prison. I mean, and that’s just in the UK. There’s also charges back in Romania, and there’s an investigation still underway in the United States.”
Dave Aronberg added that he does not expect the brothers to return to the lifestyle they previously enjoyed if the legal cases result in convictions.
“So I do not think that the Tate brothers will be able to go back to the life they’re used to. I think they’re facing the rest of their lives in a prison cell.”

Dave Aronberg’s comments come after brothers Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate’s arrest in Miami on July 18, just outside the James L. Knight Center where Andrew was supposed to host a bare-knuckle boxing fight.
The siblings were arrested on a sealed arrest warrant stemming from an extradition request by the United Kingdom.
The arrests were made after British prosecutors (the Crown Prosecution Service) authorized 38 new charges against Andrew Tate and his brother, adding to previous allegations.
In multiple images and videos that quickly circulated on the web, Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate are seen being handcuffed by law enforcement officers. TMZ further reported that the arrest had been made by the U.S. Marshals Service.
Per an Al Jazeera report, the charges were made on the basis of offenses from 2010 until 2017. The total case brought forward by UK authorities consists of 59 charges.
Andrew Tate himself faces 42 total charges, including 14 counts of rape, multiple counts of arranging/facilitating sex trafficking, assault, and 19 charges related to indecent images of a child and extreme pornography.
Tristan Tate, on the other hand, faces 17 total charges, including counts of rape, sexual assault, and arranging/facilitating sex trafficking.
Despite the severe allegations, both brothers have continuously maintained their innocence and have retained legal counsel in the United States to fight their extradition back to the UK.
The legal proceedings in Miami will determine whether the United States grants the UK’s extradition request.
As of writing, no court has determined their guilt on the charges discussed during the interview.
Following Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate’s arrest, the brothers’ attorney, Joe McBride, made his first statement, telling the press:
“We are of course objecting to extradition because Andrew and Tristan are innocent. We are working to get them out of there as soon as possible.”
