Among the biggest talking points around the Argentine players is midfielder Enzo Fernandez’s temporary separation from his wife, Valentina Cervantes. At that time, he was linked up with Lamine Yamal’s ex-girlfriend, Nicki Nicole; however, he eventually found his way back to his spouse.

At that time, the footballer and his wife decided to take some time off to figure things out on their own.
Although the exact circumstances leading to Enzo and Valentina’s split were not known, it was reported at the time that he was overwhelmed by the immense responsibility of starting a family at a young age. The Chelsea midfielder became a father at the age of 19, when his first child, daughter Olivia, was born in May 2020. He later had his second child, son Benjamin, at the age of 23.
At one point, Enzo allegedly realized he wanted to live independently and experience the single life he had missed out on. Because they wanted different things in life, he and his better half allegedly briefly split. In late October 2024, Valentina officially confirmed the separation in an Instagram statement, revealing that it was a mutual decision to create distance while maintaining that they will “always be family.”
Shortly after the breakup, Enzo was romantically linked to Argentine rapper and Lamine Yamal’s ex-girlfriend, Nicki Nicole; however, she later denied having any ties to him. Notably, Nicki wasn’t dating Lamine at that time, and they only got together months after her dating buzz with Enzo. Not just Nicki, Enzo was linked up with another celebrity at that time.
Enzo Fernandez sparked relationship rumors with Argentine model Pampita Ardohain, though she also denied any entanglement with the footballer. Notably, Enzo didn’t comment on the link-ups with either woman.

Enzo Fernandez and Valentina Cervantes have been childhood sweethearts, so it was not shocking that they mended things quickly and ended their separation within months. By early 2025, they were reported to have reconciled, and she confirmed the same in an Instagram post. Currently, the couple is reportedly living happily together in London, and their bond is stronger than ever.
Speaking on their brief split, Valentina shared on Multitalenttv’s Don’t Think So Much that she got back together with Enzo Fernandez because she thinks their relationship deserves a second chance. However, she also made it clear that there would be no further attempts at reconciliation if they split again. It was kind of an ultimatum for her husband. Valentina’s exact words were:
“Second chances always come, generally with anyone. Because we’re human beings and we can make mistakes. No more third chances, there’s no third or fourth. We’re doing very well now; we’ve known each other for a long time. Enzo looks at me now and knows what’s going on with me.”
