EJ’s determination to play God appears to be turning into a disaster on Days of our Lives. According to the spoilers preview video for the week of June 15 to 19, 2026, EJ has to deal with the consequences of trying to control both life and death with one dangerous drug.
What Happens to Holly?

The college crowd’s fun trip to the Horton cabin turns into anything but when something strange happens to Holly (Ashley Puzemis). Aaron (Louis Tomeo), Ari (Vico Escorcia), Tate (Leo Howard), and Holly are all happy to be there after everything that has happened and immediately create a party atmosphere. However, when they are out by a fire later, Holly passes out.
Holly’s friends rally around her, but can Holly’s problems stem from something caused by EJ? His DiMera Pharmaceutical endeavors seem to be causing more problems than they solve in some very real ways.
Sarah’s Discovery

While the kids enjoy Sarah’s (Linsey Godfrey) gift of the Horton cabin until they don’t, Brady (Eric Martsolf) continues helping Sarah get to the bottom of Destiny’s death. They both notice something strange that came from DiMera Pharmaceuticals. Could that have contributed to what happened to both Destiny and her sister?
EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) doesn’t want to admit that there is anything wrong with the enhanced version of Versavix, but Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) can tell there is something up, especially with how he changed his mind about using it on her mother. When Cat asks Mark (Jonah Robinson) if there is a problem with the drug, Mark gets cagey and can’t look his sister in the eye.
No Drug for Chanel

Paulina (Jackee Harry) is desperate to get her hands on the drug to cure Chanel’s (Raven Bowens) cancer without the side effects, but EJ refuses to give it to her. On top of that, Chanel is understandably way too nervous to take it. We’re not even sure why Paulina thought she would, considering Chanel didn’t even want to do chemo.
EJ doesn’t dare tell anyone, especially Paulina, that the drug might even work and Lexie (Nikki Crawford) could be dying again. Lexie is determined to do whatever she can to stick around, but she is quite surprised to see how much Abe (James Reynolds) still feels for Paulina. Their anniversary is on Friday. Lexie is stunned to learn that Abe and Paulina married on Juneteenth.
Do you think Holly took bad meds? Will Abe finally realize he is meant to be with Paulina? Let us know what you think in the comments.
