One of esports’ oldest chair brands just made its move into horror game territory
DXRACER has announced it will serve as the official gaming chair partner for the Identity V Championship NAEU 2026. The brand will supply custom Drifting Series chairs designed specifically for the tournament, which runs from July through September 2026.
What the Identity V Championship NAEU 2026 involves
The IVC NAEU 2026 is an A-Tier esports tournament organized by NetEase Games, bringing together top teams from the North America and Europe division to compete in Identity V, the asymmetrical horror game known for its gothic visual style and 1v4 gameplay format. The competition begins with online qualifiers before advancing to the region’s first-ever offline Grand Finals. The team that wins the Grand Finals earns a direct qualification spot to the Call of the Abyss X Global Finals Group Stage, the biggest international event in the Identity V competitive calendar.
What DXRACER is bringing to the tournament
The custom Drifting Series chairs created for IVC NAEU 2026 draw on Identity V‘s visual identity while incorporating DXRACER’s standard ergonomic features, including lumbar support and premium materials. The chairs will be used by participating teams throughout both the training and competition phases of the event.
DXRACER was founded in 2006 and is credited as the first company to develop the modern gaming chair category. The brand is headquartered in Whitmore Lake, Michigan, and supplies seating to esports organizations and professional players worldwide.
Why this partnership matters for NAEU esports
The offline Grand Finals marks a milestone for Identity V‘s competitive scene in the NAEU region. Offline events carry a different weight in esports culture, offering players a live competitive environment and giving fans a chance to watch the action in person. Adding a hardware sponsor at this stage signals growing investment in the region’s tournament infrastructure.
Identity V has built a large international player base since its release and has expanded its competitive structure steadily through the IVC series. The COA X Global Finals represents the top tier of that structure, making the NAEU Grand Finals an important qualifier for teams aiming to reach the world stage.
