DJ Akademiks calls out Sneako for participating in Louis Theroux’s Manosphere documentary, says HSTikkyTokky was the best part

Media personality DJ Akademiks had a few thoughts about Nicolas Kenn De Balinthazy, aka Sneako’s appearance in Louis Theroux’s Netflix documentary, Inside The Manosphere. During a recent stream and while on video call with Nicolas, Akademiks called him an “id*ot,” asking why he did the documentary.

Nicolas said he was sure Akademiks did not watch the documentary. According to Nicolas, Akademiks should not have strong opinions if he did not watch the doc. The media personality said:

“I watched it with a girl on my bed ad I literally had to like almost mute up because I am like, yo, he’s exposing you all so crazy.”

Sneako reiterated that he should watch his part in the documentary. Akademiks said:

“I am not gonna lie. You part was probably the least exposing, but I still say, you know, the idea of why, like, actually I think the person who did the best even though some might say, he’s getting, you know, some of the worst, you know of it.”

Sneako asked if it was Justin (Waller) that he was talking about, but DJ Akademiks said it was HSTikkyTokky. He added:

“I think he knew what it was gonna be and he bit into exactly what they want. He gave them what they want.”

According to DJ Akademiks, others thought that they were smarter than the program. However, they had no control over the narrative or the editing.

What did Sneako say about the Netflix documentary?

Sneako called out Akademiks and said that he was making strong opinions without seeing the documentary. The media personality said that he had watched it. Nicolas pointed out that this was not what he claimed five seconds ago. However, DJ Akademiks clarified:

“No. I said I cut it off a couple times when I was watching with a girl. Like to watch by myself.”

Nicolas asked Akademiks what his part was about. Akademiks said Nicolas was behaving like a girl who has the main character syndrome. He added:

“Your part wasn’t that memorable because you did a good job of not saying nothing much. Everybody else who tried to say something…”

During a streaming session in February 2026, Sneako said that he appeared in the Netflix documentary and that the trailer had already been released. He explained that the film was about the manosphere, and he seemed to be the main focus in the trailer.

He added that his part in the documentary was filmed almost a year earlier, around the time when he was making vlogs. Sneako also said they would have to wait and see if the full documentary matched what was shown in the trailer. He added:

“So from my perspective, it looks like that Manosphere documentary is going to be the moral will be how Manosphere is a pipeline to anti-semitism if they follow my, you know, based off the questions you have asking about Myron and based off of the my interview and also trying to get into the conspiracies and everything.”

Sneako said that the documentary got more engagement compared to other social media posts by Netflix.
