Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on Days of our Lives

We didn’t think it would be so fun to lock four DiMeras in one crypt, but it is. It also reminds us that the DiMeras are such a different clan than they were when they first set foot in Salem about 45 years ago. Our first DiMera, Tony, is even in the crypt, telling us that the OG is often still the best. But adding Kristen, Chad, and Theo was genius. The DiMeras are no longer just this Italian gothic crime family. Instead, they are different and diverse, thanks to Stefano’s seed being spread far and wide for so many years. He has children and grandchildren of all ages and backgrounds and they all make for a wonderful little family bunch, always backstabbing and bickering, but also always up to something. Watching them squabble with each other in the crypt, while also attempting to work together, is more fun than we thought it would be. We even want to see another DiMera join them before this is over. At this point, that can either be EJ or Johnny unless another DiMera makes their way to town soon. With so many spread far and wide, that is not out of the realm of possibility. Maybe one of them can even be a doctor to take care of Kristen’s ankle. Maybe that’s a job for tunnel-dwelling Dr. Rolf.
