Stephen Colbert is an esteemed late-night talk show host with over two decades worth of experience. While most people likely know him from his current program, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, he initially got his start as a comedian and correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart in the early 2000s.
In the latest news about the iconic host and political commentator, Stephen Colbert recently reunited with Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers, and John Oliver, for a special episode of their charitable podcast Strike Force Five. When asked by his fellow late-night hosts to name some of his most beautiful guests over the years, Colbert dished on his list of celebrities who were “so attractive that he found it distracting.” It included Michelle Williams, Rachel Weisz and Rebecca Ferguson.
When discussing Michelle Williams Colbert stated,
“I’ll tell you who I did not expect to be wildly attracted to. I didn’t know what to do with myself. I like this person’s work, but I never thought of them as a bombshell. I could not—I didn’t know what to do with my eyeballs when Michelle Williams was on for the first time.”
He added,
“She sat down across from me, and I went, ‘F—. What is wrong with my head? I cannot—I better not look directly at her for this entire interview.’ There was something about her vibe, her face, everything.”
Stephen Colbert would go on to detail his experiences while interviewing the other two women he mentioned later in the podcast.
Stephen Colbert opens up on Rachel Weisz, Rebecca Ferguson, and more
As the Strike Force Five podcast episode went on, Stephen Colbert continued to detail the other experiences he had with beautiful female celebrity guests that stood out to him over the years. The next actress on his list was Rachel Weisz, who Colbert admits actively trying to avoid prior to the interview out of the fear of embarrassing himself.
“I used to have a Rachel Weisz problem. I’ve recovered. When Rachel Weisz would be on The Daily Show, I would leave the building for fear that I would say something stupid to her.”
He added,
“I was afraid I would stand in the hallway and go, ‘Hi. You were great in The Constant Gardener.”
The third and final actress who captivated Colbert’s attention was the Dune franchise’s Rebecca Ferguson,
“Because she brings game.”
His late-night contemporary, Seth Meyers was quick to chime in
“I will say a great interview, great interview.”
The final episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will air on May 21.
