Diane Jenkins has been missing on The Young and the Restless for nearly a month, but now she’s going to get back on our screens on Monday’s episode, airing on June 15! Additionally, an overdue confrontation will occur between Traci and the woman responsible for the death of her daughter, Colleen. Also, a new mystery unfolds for Jack and Kyle, Diane’s husband and their son.
The Mystery of Diane Jenkins Abbott
Where has Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) been? Well, we know she’s been in Fairmont Crest on Beyond the Gates. And we’re about to learn where she’s been the last month or so — maybe! On Monday’s episode, watch for Diane to have a rude awakening upon returning home to Genoa City!
Has she been kidnapped by Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) or Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)? How might Dr. Laurence Markham (played by Jere Burns, who starred on the sitcom Dear John with Walters back in the late 1980s/early 1990s) factor into the mystery of Diane’s disappearance?
In Memory of Colleen
One of the most heartbreaking moments in the history of Y&R was the death of Colleen Carlton (Tammin Sursok). A deranged Patty kidnapped Colleen, who managed to escape, but she fell into a lake while doing so. She was pulled from the water too late! Declared brain dead, Traci (Beth Maitland) made the agonizing decision to let Colleen pass away and donate her organs. Her heart was donated to Victor, who was in desperate need of one!
Patty is back on the scene, claiming to have reformed, but that doesn’t mean that Traci has forgiven her. On Monday’s show, watch for Traci to hold Patty accountable for her actions. Will Patty show any remorse for her actions, or will she double down and act as if that was another person who kidnapped Colleen?
A New Mystery
Jack (Peter Bergman) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) are back from their trip to Fairmont Crest, and on Monday’s show, watch for a mystery to unfold for the two men. Kyle, Jack, and Diane have managed to form quite the family unit since Diane returned from the dead, or rather, she revealed that she had never really died!
Jack and Diane wed. She redid the mansion, and her touches were well-received by both Jack and Kyle, and other family members, too. Last year, in fact, Jack and Diane got along swimmingly. This year, however, has been a different story.
Victor had Jack kidnapped and placed on a yacht with Patty. The good news is that Diane, Kyle, and Billy (Jason Thompson) were able to locate Jack. The bad news is that Jack, who’d been drugged, was in bed with Patty just as the trio of rescuers walked into the stateroom.
Diane was ready to reach out to Jack, but then she went missing. Will Jack and Kyle be able to locate Diane in time? Stay tuned!
