Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on Days of our Lives
It looks like the classic story of good vs. evil is gearing up again on Days of our Lives. Salem has been battling Stefano DiMera and the devil for decades, and it doesn’t look like that’s stopping now that Stefano seems to be dead for good. Before he died, he made arrangements for his beloved daughter, Alexandra, to be cryogenically frozen so she could one day be cured and resurrected. All of these years later, that time is now, but Paulina had one correct statement about EJ’s declaration that his sister’s rebirth is a miracle. “Miracles don’t come from the devil,” she proclaimed before running from the lab. Suddenly, EJ’s ring-clad hand began to shake almost uncontrollably, before he placed it on his sister’s unconscious head with a deranged and evil look in his eyes. Even the lights looked as if they were flickering. Susan has made about Stefano’s ring being on her precious baby boy’s finger, convinced that she can still feel Stefano’s presence. Could Susan be right? It was Stefano who caused Marlena to be vulnerable enough to devil possession back in the 1990s. Maybe we will learn that Stefano is the devil himself after all, and is now living through EJ, a man who wants to play God, but is really doing the devil’s dirty work. That would be sticking with a Salem theme.
