Jun Hyun Moo and Jang Do Yeon hosted the 2025 MBC Entertainment Awards. The event aired live from the MBC Media Center Public Hall in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. Beloved titles such as How Do You Play? I Live Alone, Radio Star, and The King of Mask Singer, among others, were featured in the winners’ list. Relatively newer titles like The Wonder Coach and Rookie Director Kim Yeon Kyung were also notably recognized.
The MBC Entertainment Awards are one of South Korea’s three major terrestrial broadcasters’ year-end ceremonies. The Daesang or Grand Prize at the MBC Entertainment Awards is one of the most significant categories. Yoo Jae-suk received this year’s Grand Prize.
Yoo Jae-suk’s award acceptance speech was as follows:
“I received my first grand prize in 2005 and now I have received my 21st in 2025. Since no one knows the future, I am not sure if it is possible, but I will do my best to reach 30.”
He also added:
“I want to thank Park Jin-joo, Lee Mi-joo, and Lee Ee-kyung, who unfortunately left the show this year, for their hard work and dedication.”
